Embracing Change

Hello dear friends, I've been blogging for many years here on this platform. Not on this particular blog per se but with other endeavors over the many years.

I'm making the mindful decision to move my work over to a self-hosted site. Of course, there are pro's and con's to using different platforms to publish one's content and after researching options and much consideration-I've decided to make the change.

You may not notice much change in terms of the visual impact on my site. I will continue to use November Dahlia for my theme. As a writer and visual artist, I appreciate the clean layouts and beautiful type setting which is so important in content creation and yet so often overlooked.

If you are reading this and just dipping your toe into the world of blogging, I think this platform offers an excellent starting point and perhaps depending on your personal goals a permanent home for your creative aspirations. 

I would recommend you take a look at the many themes available from November Dahlia. With it's clean esthetic and functional design it can really help you conceptualize your work as it develops. Another theme designer I have been fond of is Sky and Stars.
