Each year as the winter begins to subside we look forward to the arrival of the colorful spring flowers. After a very long cold season that just feels drab after some time these fresh and vibrant blooms are welcoming to the senses.
I was out on my front porch one spring afternoon, pruning and watering the florets and as the petals dropped to the ground and the water began to seep from the flower pots, I turned around to find a picturesque image.
This experience changed the way I see art and it's many forms. I wasn't trying to create anything-it just happened on it's own and yet it is one of my most loved pieces in terms of my photography.
Everything about it I appreciate-the movement of the image as a whole with all of the mixed elements of water and nature blend together to create something really easy and tranquil.
"Beautiful photo." I love to take a daily walk and sometimes, on very fine days I am blessed with nature's special walkways such as this🐾
